Finding inspiration in the design of classic jugs used to serve milk and sugar during British teatime, German designer Christian Metzner updates the archetypal form for the modern home imbuing it with a twist reminiscent of scientific laboratory glassware. The Frau Kroger Mirror Glass Container is designed as a serving tool for any substance as the glass container cleverly integrates three spouts into its conical form. Evenly placed, these spouts allow the user to pour without turning the jug to face them.
Made of mouth-blown borosilicate glass, the container is heatproof and durable. The Frau Kroger Mirror Glass Container is finished with a reflective silver glazing on the interior, giving it a strong presence on the tabletop, further highlighting the modern spin on the classic object.
